Study / Teaching
The Department of Computer Science offers undergraduate degree programmes in both computer science and applied computer science. Bachelor's and master's programmes with coordinated fields of application are available in both fields. It is easy to switch between specializations at the beginning or to take a module course for orientation. The structure of our degree programmes is based on the recommendations of Germany’s Gesellschaft für Informatik e.V. (GI). Students can begin their studies in Winter Semester or in Summer Semester. The following table shows the main similarities and differences:

Bachelor (6 Semester) | Informatics | Applied Computer Science
Master (4 Semester) | Informatics | Computer Science | Applied Computer Science
